Question of the Week: Energy sources

With oil peaking at $100 a barrel, the world energy crisis continues to push countries to develop alternatives to handle depleting fossil fuel sources.

Solar, wind and hydro power have long dominated the alternative energy scene, but recent research has shown that electricity can be harnessed from anything ranging from algae to food leftovers.

This week's Eco Solutions showcased how South Korea was using biogas technology which makes electricity from animal waste. In short, it seems that electricity can be produced from a plethora of sources.
